I'm not sure if this is the answer or not but I had the same problem and solved it by going to the folder Yuri's Revenge is installed in and copying the gamemd.exe from there to where the Yuri's Revenge game.exe is.
It might work as well just copying the gamemd.exe from the game's folder to where the Yuri's Revenge game.exe is.
Since this game is a cross-platform game I am not sure if this would work in the future.

I can't believe it's Friday already. I've been sitting here at my desk for hours today. My mind is on many things, but to make it easier to sort my thoughts and just have a little bit of fun, I decided to write down a list of things I love. It's a long list! Hopefully I can think of some more things I love in the next few weeks.
Right now I'm just going to focus on two things. First, I love the fact that we have the chance to sit and reflect on the things we love during the winter season. I've always loved snow. It makes everything a little more peaceful and peaceful.
Second, I love being with the people I love. These three people I write about (Jin, BJ and Josh) are really special to me. I appreciate them, love them, and I know I'm so lucky to have them in my life. I always feel happy when I'm with them. They make me smile and laugh and I just love being with them. I hope you can feel the same joy that I do when you're with the people you love.Andrej Jerman
